Job Description

Communications Supervisor 

City of Vallejo, CA ($5,317- $6,462/mo. with benes.) 

This position, under direction from management staff, supervises, oversees, and participates in a variety of the most difficult and complex duties involved in the receipt and dispatching of calls for law enforcement, fire, ambulance and other emergency assistance.  Reqs. at least 3 yrs. of  exp. in receiving and processing public service calls in a law enforcement agency and equivalent to the completion of the twelfth grade supplement by general clerical training.  Prior or current supervisory experience within a law enforcement dispatch environment of comparable call volume and additional specialized training in criminal justice or related field are highly desirable.  Possession of  P.O.S.T.
