Airbus DS Communications has expanded its offerings for its emergency notification portfolio

Share |

Airbus DS Communications, a pioneer and leader in emergency notification solutions, is pleased to announce new technology partnerships for incident and risk management, business continuity, disaster recovery and lone worker safety. Collaborations with industry-leading companies in these areas enhance the VESTA® portfolio, bringing greater value to Airbus DS Communications’ client base.

The company’s latest alliances involve Resolver, a developer of a comprehensive and integrated risk and incident management portfolio; Cobalt, a cloud-based SaaS solutions provider focused on incident response, disaster recovery and business continuity planning; and CommandWear, a manufacturer of wearable systems that provide remote and real-time monitoring of personnel locations and mission progress.

“With the increase in significant incidents such as natural disasters, active shootings and cyberattacks, companies must strengthen their means to effectively respond,” said Jeremy Smith, Airbus DS Communications’ General Manager, Emergency Notification Solutions. “We are proud to partner with technology leaders in their respective fields to enhance our VESTA emergency notification solution and ensure users are better prepared.”

Through the new partnerships, Airbus’ VESTA® Communicator emergency notification system users will –

  • Have access to Resolver’s integrated incident management portfolio, which gives a full view of an organization’s risk lifecycle from risk identification and management, to disaster recovery and business continuity planning;
  • Be able to easily load incidents and pre-script responses with the help of Cobalt’s mobile app and cloud-based SaaS solutions; and
  • Remotely monitor personnel locations and track mission progress in real-time with text-based messaging and picture/video sharing through wearables by CommandWear.

Over the years, the emergency notification market has evolved from simple push notification systems to two-way communication solutions that allow for flexibility and collaboration. Airbus’ VESTA® Communicator emergency notification solution rises to the challenge, staying in step with the needs of those in the business continuity, disaster recovery, cybersecurity and risk management realms.

“Expanding the capabilities of our VESTA portfolio achieves a key element of our growth strategy,” added Smith. “More importantly, it upholds our commitment to our customers to keep people connected when it matters most. Resolver, Cobalt and CommandWear provide compelling solutions that provide capabilities our customers need and want, and we are making it as easy as possible for them to have access.”
