The city of Oxnard, California Fire Department will deploy Emergency Technologies, Inc. (ETI) Visual Fire, a Fire Records Management System (Fire RMS), which will provide responders with access to mission critical data that will help improve firefighter safety and increase efficiency and effectiveness in federal and state reporting requirements.

ETI will begin implementing Visual Fire later this year as part of a comprehensive public safety software modernization effort. Visual Fire will provide Oxnard Fire Department with highly configurable software that will help streamline field and station electronic reporting.

The Visual Fire solution is a suite of modules that includes fire incident reporting, fire inspections, mobile field reporting, training and certification records, hydrant information and structural pre-plans, along with several additional modules that will provide the Oxnard Fire Department with modern technology to improve data management and integrity throughout the system. The ETI solution will also integrate with New World Systems’ Computer-aided Dispatch (CAD) system.

“ETI’s solutions are used by the most progressive Fire Departments. We are honored to partner with the Oxnard Fire Department, and look forward to a successful implementation. “said Kyle Breischaft, president and chief executive officer of Emergency Technologies, Inc. He continued, “We are very excited to be able to deploy Visual Fire in Southern California.”

Oxnard, California is situated along the Pacific coastline approximately 60 miles northwest of Los Angeles and 35 miles south of Santa Barbara, and is the largest city in Ventura County. Oxnard is approximately 39 square miles and has a population 197,899. Oxnard Fire Department has 87 uniformed personnel, and operates out of 7 fire stations.
