Spokane Selects Locution Systems for Automated Dispatching & Fire Station Alerting

City of Spokane and 19 other fire agencies in Spokane County to implement radio version of Locution Systems’ CADVoice® automated fire & EMS dispatching technology

Locution Systems, Inc., a provider of advanced, automated 911 dispatching, fire station alerting, and fire station control technology, today announced that it has been commissioned to provide its CADVoice® automated 911 dispatching system to the City of Spokane, Wash. and 19 other public safety agencies in Spokane County, Wash.  Locution Systems will be providing the radio version of the CADVoice® fire and EMS automated dispatching system to the City of Spokane and other agencies that comprise Spokane County including the cities & towns of Spokane, Deer Park, Elk, Chattaroy, Riverside, Spangle, Waverly, Rockford, Airway Heights, Liberty Lake, City of Spokane Valley, Millwood, Cheney, Medical Lake, Newman Lake, Mica, Valleyford, Mead, Colbert, and Nine Mile.

“Locution Systems already provides automated dispatching and fire station alerting to other cities and counties in Washington, including Seattle, Bellevue, and Vancouver, Washington,” noted Glenn Neal, Locution Systems president, founder, and chief technology officer.  “We’re very happy to be increasing our coverage in the state of Washington with this new implementation of CADVoice® Radio automated dispatching.  We look forward to helping the City and County of Spokane both improve response times and reduce stress for its dispatchers and emergency responders.”
