ProPhoenix is the Next Generation Public Safety Software for Vineland PD, New Jersey

The City of Vineland, New Jersey is now utilizing ProPhoenix Public Safety Software. With a population of over 60,000, this large jurisdiction needed public safety software that could help them achieve their maximum public safety potential.

Sergeant Chris Fulchur at Vineland states, “We consider ProPhoenix modern, state of the art technology.  They were open and willing to listen to our suggestions and incorporate improvements at no additional charge, so we never felt nickel and dimed. “

The Vineland Police Department includes 160 Sworn Officers, 30 Civilian Staffers, and three Dispatch Call takers with the ability to grow to four. With such a large population, Phoenix’s CAD, WDA, RMS, Mobile, and report writing functionality were the answer Vineland had been looking for.

Sergeant Fulchur says, “We love the ease of use in installing, deploying, and maintaining the applications, especially CAD and WDA with the thin client that updates automatically after initial installation. Phoenix’s workflow is superior to the separation of CAD/RMS/Mobile/Report Writing (especially the merge process no longer being needed with ProPhoenix). “

Vineland was very impressed with all of ProPhoenix’s interfaces (NCIS, Pictometry, and Sagem Morpho), as well as ProPhoenix’s all-inclusive module philosophy.

Sergeant Chris Fulchur at Vineland says, “We are very happy, and very impressed with the data conversion. It was timely and complete, no waiting three years like with our last vendor (converting their own applications)! We also find the single point of data entry, especially with DL Reader, to be quiet useful (in theory, they never have to type a name)! “

The installation and configuration of Vineland’s Phoenix RMS system was an eight month project. However it was completed in five months.
