Tiburon, Inc., the industry-leading provider of public safety software solutions, and a portfolio company of The Gores Group, has acquired the Total Enforcement (TE) technology suite from its parent company Total Computer Software. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Total Enforcement is a highly advanced, fully integrated, automated law enforcement records management and computer aided dispatch solution. Built on the latest Microsoft .NET and Azure technologies, Total Enforcement gives law enforcement agencies the power to collect, process and access information in real time, leveraging both premise-based and hosted offerings as well as the latest in next generation secure cloud-based technologies.

Stratus Technologies

"Total Enforcement is a strategic complement to Tiburon's market leading product offerings in Records Management (RMS) and Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD)," said Michael Bealmear, President and CEO of Tiburon. "The TE RMS solution offers uncompromised functionality, simplicity, enterprise scalability, and extends our reach in a significant way. The CAD is a great offering as well and is well suited for some untapped, non-traditional markets we're interested in pursuing."

As part of the transaction, all Total Enforcement employees will be joining Tiburon and remain in their current location in Melville, NY.
