Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office Now Dispatches with ProPhoenix Public Safety Software
The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office successfully went live with ProPhoenix Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) Software. The Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office first began using Phoenix Records Management System (RMS) in 2006. Now, this complete integration between CAD and RMS gives real-time data transmission from call initiation to call completion. There is increased officer safety with access to more information in the Phoenix Wireless Digital Assistant (WDA) product. Dispatchers and officers in the field, can query suspect and vehicle information from local, state and federal databases as well as access valuable data from other Phoenix users in Wisconsin and throughout the United States. Incident reporting can be started on scene, and finished upon returning to the station, or when available in the field.
Captain Brian Berkow is quoted in saying, “ProPhoenix allows us to integrate critical data more efficiently and effectively. The seamless integration of CAD and RMS data allows our agency to focus on data collection while not having to maintain an independent data warehouse. ProPhoenix is our intelligence database and their user network allows us to share data and intelligence effortlessly with other law enforcement users. ProPhoenix has been and continues to be a key partner to our data-driven, intelligence-led (CompStat) policing strategies and operations.”
