Tiburon Continues to Demonstrate Exceptional Implementation Services with Successful Client Technology Installs and Upgrades
Tiburon, Inc., a portfolio company of The Gores Group and a leading provider of public safety software solutions, has announced several significant client go-lives and upgrades representing continued implementation success in 2014.
Arlington County, Virginia
Arlington County and Tiburon staff successfully migrated Tiburon CAD2000/MDS system to Tiburon CAD: Command CAD 2.9 Edition and Tiburon Mobile: MobileCom 5.3 Edition. The project included several Interfaces including VCIN enhanced State queries, Westnet FSA, Push-to-Talk, ad hoc radio aliasing, EMS Charts and a new paging server platform supported by HipLink. A complex interface to the National Capitol Regions national award winning CAD-to-CAD system was developed and deployed to Tiburon CAD as well. This interface provides real time exchange of fire unit response and call status data, including automated dispatch of mutual aid units for three neighboring Fire jurisdictions using three different CAD system vendors. The City of Alexandria, Fairfax County and the Metropolitan Washington Airport Authority (Reagan and Dulles airports) participate in this highly successful regional multi-agency, multi-jurisdictional implementation.
Arlington Virginia, an urban, high density County is located across the Potomac River from Washington DC and home to many high profile sites such as the Pentagon and Arlington National Cemetery. Comprised of 26 square miles, the County provides Law, Sheriff and Fire protection services to over 207,000 residents.
Oneida County, New York
Oneida County Department of Emergency Services went live with Tiburon CAD: DispatchNow CAD Edition 2.0. Oneida County Department of Emergency Services is led by the Director of Emergency Services and comprises three separate offices: The Office of the County Fire Coordinator, The Office of Emergency Management, and the Office of Emergency Communications 911 Center. Though each office has its own unique mission, their functions often blend together to provide for the health, safety, and welfare of the people of Oneida County.
Oneida County is located in central New York. The county has a total area of 1,257 square miles with a population of 235,000. Oneida County Department of Emergency Services is responsible for 51 fire agencies, 700 firefighters, and received approximately 40,000 fire calls for service per year.
On Tuesday February 11th beginning at 6:30am, Lubbock staff, along with the onsite/remote Tiburon cutover team successfully migrated Lubbock from IQR CAD to TC CAD 2.8 and upgraded MobileCOM 5.3. Lubbock is located in the northwestern part of Texas. Lubbock has been a customer since 1996 and they service for 236,000 residents over 123 square miles. They also receive 275,000 police and fire calls a year for the 800 sworn officers that keep Lubbock safe.
Long Beach, California
City staff, along with the onsite Tiburon cutover team successfully cut over City public safety systems to the latest versions of Tiburon CAD: TotalCommand CAD edition 2.9, Tiburon Mobile: MobileCom Edition 5.3, Tiburon Law RMS: LawRECORDS Edition 7.9, CMS 7.9 and Tiburon Fire RMS: FireRECORDS Edition. Included in the upgrade were complex interfaces to Los Angeles County Sheriff, a new Westnet FSA window and Push-to-Talk interface that includes the ability to create ad hoc radio aliases on user demand among others.
The City of Long Beach, a long term Tiburon client located in Southern California, serves a resident population of over 465,000 with police, fire and 911 public safety services.
Idaho State Police
Tiburon is proud to announce the Idaho State Police went live with Records Management/ARS version 7.9. The project includes Law Records /ARS 7.9 with Property Room and WebQuery and major interfaces to APS Citation and CopLink Triggers. The Idaho State Police have provided law enforcement services to the citizens of Idaho since 1919 covering 86,000 sq. miles across 2 time zones. The State of Idaho has approximately 1.6 million residents.
