Zetron Leads Industry with over 5 Million Hours of P25 CSSI Operation

Zetron, a leading provider of mission-critical communication solutions worldwide, has announced that implementations of its Acom integrated dispatch system utilizing the TIA Project 25 (P25) Console Subsystem Interface (CSSI) have logged more than 5 million hours of successful operation at customer sites throughout North and South America and Australia. This far exceeds the performance of any other CSSI-based dispatch console solution currently available. Implementations of Acom utilizing the CSSI have also performed successfully with P25 Phase II networks. This is significant because Phase II provides twice the spectrum efficiency of Phase I.

“Exceeding 5 million hours of successful CSSI operation is yet another demonstration of our ongoing commitment to supporting P25 and other open standards,” said Zetron President and CEO, Ellen O’Hara. “It also underscores our continuing dedication to delivering solutions that provide cross-system compatibility and offer a wide range of equipment choices.”

Zetron supports the integration of its radio dispatch systems with all major CSSI radio infrastructure manufacturers, including:

  • Motorola (Phase I and II)
  • Harris (Phase I and II)
  • Airbus
  • Tait
  • EF Johnson
  • Auria
  • Codan
  • Raytheon
