Executive Director Stanislaus Regional 911, Modesto, California
Stanislaus Regional 911 (SR 911) is seeking a highly skilled, technically competent Executive Director to oversee the day-to-day operations of its dispatch facility and to increase its value in the region.
SR 911 is a public safety communications center serving law enforcement and fire services as well as a Public Safety Answering Point and Dispatch Center providing services to over 20 individual agencies located throughout the unincorporated areas of Stanislaus County and within eight incorporated cities.
This at will position reports to and serves at the pleasure of a 7-member Commission and works closely with a 4-member Advisory Board. The Executive Director manages a budget of approximately $8.1 million with a total of 54 full-time and 8 part-time professional and technical staff who provide operational (dispatching), technical, and administrative support.
Any combination of education, experience, and training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities will be considered. Graduation from an accredited college with course work in business administration, public administration, management, information technologies, computer science, or related field is highly desirable. The salary range for this position is up to $138,444.
