On March 18, 2014 a dwelling fire was dispatched in Camden City (NJ) to an address on Mechanic Street. Engine 8 and the Battalion arrived and reported heavy fire conditions in a 2-story middle-of-the-row dwelling. Command struck the All Hands.  A water supply was secured as companies went into operation with a handline. Command struck a 2nd Alarm with heavy fire and smoke throughout the dwelling with extension into the attached exposures.  Crews were in defensive operation to control the blaze.  No firefighter injuries on the fire ground.
