The 10th Annual California Mobile Command Rally will be hosted by the San Francisco Fire Department on April 18th, 2018. The event is a free public-safety sponsored display and educational presentation which has been held annually in California since 2009.

Public Safety personnel, first responders of all ranks and disciplines, military emergency personnel, 9-1-1 dispatchers, Emergency Management and Search & Rescue personnel, field communications managers and incident dispatchers, vehicle, equipment, and communications vendors, and all others associated with field communications management, technology, and operations are welcome.

April 18th, date of the devastating 1906 earthquake and fires, is a very significant date for San Franciscans and we'll be setting up some associated presentations and classes.

This Rally gathers together a wide variety of mobile command and communications units from around California in order to demonstrate the variety of capabilities and mutual aid operability of local and regional mobile comm units throughout the state.

Field communicators, Comm Unit Leaders, Incident commanders, patrol supervisors, incident dispatchers, emergency managers, and other public safety professionals will be able to:

  • See firsthand what command and communications resources are available in the area and how they will work together in major, multi-discipline events
  • Obtain a better understanding of Incident Management for large scale operations utilizing COMLs, Incident Dispatchers, and Incident Management Teams for Fire, Law, EMS, and all-risk incidents.

We expect 25-30 MCCs to be on display, from a variety of disciplines and organizations including both state-of-the-art commercial units as well as DIY vehicles, in a myriad of sizes, shapes, and configurations.

For more information, to be added to our e-mailing list, to RSVP your attendance as a visitor, or to reserve a spot for your command/comm unit, please contact Rally Plans Section

Sponsors: We are looking for vendor sponsors to support the event!

Instructors: We are looking for relevant classroom presentations to enhance the experience!
