Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership and FEMA to hold Meeting on wildfire & flooding on February 6th
This first ever Northern Colorado joint meeting will focus on the recent wildfires and flooding experienced in the state; the challenges that were encountered as well as the hurdles that remain as part of the long-term recovery process.
Experts from key private sector, public sector, charitable and faith-based organizations who played important roles during the wildfires, floods and their aftermath will discuss many of the challenges that had to be overcome in order to help community response and recovery. What worked? What didn't work? What lies ahead on the road to recovery for our businesses, neighborhoods and families? These issues will all be topics of discussion.
The Colorado Emergency Preparedness Partnership, or CEPP, a non-profit organization, was created in 2008 with the mission of bringing the public and private sectors of our state together to better prepare for and respond to the many natural and, sometimes, man-made hazards our state faces.
