The NENA Standard for NG9‑1‑1 Additional Data, NENA-INF-012.2-201X (DRAFT) is available for Public Review and Comment. With the implementation of NG9‑1‑1 there will be many forms of Additional Data available to telecommunicators and emergency responders beyond the primary call data and the primary street address and/or geodetic location data. This document defines how to populate the Additional Data structures to describe three entities commonly associated with an emergency call: the Caller placing the emergency call, the Location the emergency call is placed from, and the Call itself (information about the means of communication). The combination of this primary data with Additional Data can assist in determining appropriate call routing and handling, as well as providing telecommunicators and first responders with information to better address the referenced incident.  See the full document here.

NENA's PSAP Site Characteristics Information Document, NENA-INF-024.2-201X (DRAFT) is available for Public Review and Comment. This Information Document is a guide for PSAP managers and for the designers, manufacturers and installers of PSAP CPE (Customer Premises Equipment).  Most of the material in this document applies to equipment hosted in both E9‑1‑1 and NG9‑1‑1 PSAPs.  It identifies the required and desirable characteristics of the PSAP facilities that house the supporting CPE. See the full document here.

All comments are due by midnight Eastern on  August 11, 2017. You may contact the NENA Committee Resource Manager with any questions or concerns.
