To Save Lives: An e-book Project to Recognize Public Safety Dispatchers

Date: 2015-06-03
Share |

Whether you’ve dispatched for a month or you’re nearing retirement, you know that public safety dispatching can sometimes be a thankless job… But along with those less than pleasant times, you’ve also experienced moments when something you have done has helped save another person’s life - and that makes it all worth it.

You now have an opportunity to share those moments with the rest of the world by contributing to the “To Save Lives” ebook. It’s not a fundraiser, nor is it a promotion for any product or service. It’s simply a way of saying Thank You to Emergency Services’ #1 First Responders.

Simply select your favorite life-saving moment and write a brief, one page summary of the event. Email the summary, along with a photo of you in your Dispatcher uniform (photo is optional) to Captain Jonathan Parham Linden Police Department here .

Our goal is to get 100 incident summaries showcasing the poise and professionalism dispatchers display during crisis.

The mission is to have the “To Save Lives” eBook circle the globe giving praise and recognition for Emergency Services #1 First Responders!

If you would like to assist in the eBook project please contact Captain J. Parham
