Wausau FD Shares Holiday Spirit with Code-3 Light Show

From a story by Courtney Terlecki, Multimedia Journalist posted at WAOW/Wausau

In a unique holiday light show display, the Wausau, Wisconsin, Fire Department helped create a unique light show using fire trucks and ambulances.

The idea came from Wausau West High School student Hunter Stark, who suggested the project to WFD officials.  Stark also edited the 3-minute video of the light show, synced to the song “Wizards in Winter” by the Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

"We like to have a little bit of fun too, and be involved in stuff that brightens peoples days," Wausau Battalion chief Paul Czarapata told WAOW journalist Courtney Terlecki. Chief Czarapata told WAOW that it took 30 minutes to line up the trucks and the flashing lights, operated by crew members in time to the music.
