Global Communications Technology Releases Control Panel and Dial Pad for G-400 Series Interoperability Systems

Global Communications Technology gears up to make tactical interoperability even handier for users with the new CP-102 Control Panel and the DP-101 Dial Pad. Designed to be used tactically in a remote environment, or as part of a communication infrastructure, the G-408/408R and G-404 systems support most radios (VHF/UHF/HF/P25 etc) and other communication systems. The CP-102 Control Panel's push button design lets an operator connect and disconnect up to eight hardware or virtual network modules at a time in up to four nets. For rapid call management, the DP-101 Dial Pad offers easy numeric dialing, plus more advanced features like module selection, DTMF injection, and phone book dialing.

Already light on their feet thanks to the systems' compact size, low power consumption, intuitive setup, and a dynamic web-based user interface that even works on a smartphone, the CP-102 Control Panel and DP-101 Dial Pad further simplify these user-friendly systems for tactical use. After applying the system update for the G-408/408R or G-404 software from the company's website, the optional Control Panel and Dial Pad can be used separately or in tandem, connecting directly to the G-400 Series unit by standard USB, and requiring no additional power supplies or converters. When powered on, the Control Panel automatically handshakes with the system, the adjustable blue LEDs of its push button grid displaying the modules and nets in the interoperability unit's stored configuration. Adding or removing a module from a net using the Control Panel is just a push of a button, while Connect All, Disconnect All and Revert/Save provide valuable time saving convenience. Further expanding the Control Panel's tactical capacity, Global's DP-101 Dial Pad lets operators have access to built-in phone books and quickly make and break calls for all supported phone modules: PSTN, GSM, SIP, Codan and Bluetooth. Users can also insert pauses during dialing, inject DTMF tones in ongoing calls, find modules rapidly based on call status, enable or disable numeric dialing and more.

Standard hassle-free features like Automatic Gain Control, a single IP address for everything and simultaneous multi-user configuration and control distinguish Global's G-408/408R and G-404 as intercommunication systems designed specifically with the users' needs in mind, from setup to implementation. Since one size does not fit all, Global's interoperability systems are scalable, affordable and even multilingual, with new features, hardware modules, virtual modules, and capabilities like SIP added regularly.
