IDV Solutions introduces Peroptics AlertView for Visual Command Center

Risk visualization for large screens in an operations center

IDV Solutions, LLC, has launched Peroptics AlertView for its market-leading enterprise risk visualization (ERV) software platform, Visual Command Center. Peroptics AlertView displays a high-level visual summary of all active risk alerts and is optimized for viewing on large-format monitors in emergency operations centers and other command operations facilities.

For each alert in Visual Command Center, Peroptics AlertView flies to the location on an animated globe and delivers a visualization of nearby affected assets - an organization’s facilities, employees, resources, supply routes, and events - and a headline, summary and affected asset count.

“Peroptics AlertView provides our customers with a powerful large monitor visualization of current risks in the context of assets,” said Ian Clemens, Chief Technology Officer at IDV Solutions. “It delivers a type of ‘risk channel’ enabling them to more efficiently monitor and manage the workload of alerts awaiting assessment and action.”

Peroptics AlertView is a companion module for Visual Command Center, which empowers organizations to protect their people and assets, ensure continuity of operations and optimize performance. When a risk is detected near an asset or employee location, Visual Command Center automatically generates an alert and provides tools to assess whether the risk is a threat and take immediate action to mitigate the impact of the threat.

Peroptics AlertView is available to new and existing users of Visual Command Center version 3.1 or later. For more information, visit
