Share |

JVCKENWOOD USA Corp. announces the KENWOOD NX-5000 Multi-Band Configuration, which enables full tri-band receive and transmit operations in VHF, UHF, 700 and 800 MHz with a single or dual control head and up to three RF decks. The KENWOOD Multi-Band Configuration is capable of analog, P25 Phase 1 & 2, conventional and trunked operation and supports NXDN® protocols.

The Multi-Band Configuration is ideal for any first responder vehicle, including Battalion Chief, EOC vans, fire engines, police cruisers and motorcycles, ambulances and other incident command vehicles. Based on the KENWOOD NX-5700/5800/5900 mobile radios, and using single or dual KCH-19M and KCH-20RM control heads with up to three RF decks and up to three speakers, the Multi-Band Configuration offers a wide range of installation options. With up to six different remote mount configurations, it will even work in vehicles with limited space. Resilient and rugged, compact NEXEDGE® mobiles meet military specs for durability, as well as IP 54/55 for Dust & Water, making them a perfect choice for emergency conditions.
