Mobile Unit Shore Power Alarm from Kussmaul

Date: 2015-03-16
Share |

This new product from Kussmaul will be of particular interest to Mobile Command Center drivers and operators who routinely switch between generator power and shore power as one or the other becomes available at an incident command post.

The Shore Power Alarm alerts the driver, MCC technician, or operator with an audible alarm and red LED indicator if the vehicle power cable is connected while the vehicle is running.  Producing an audible 85 dB alarm, the device will create a clear signal that the cable should be disconnected, preventing costly destruction to property from driving away from an emergency station with the shoreline still attached.  Designed for easy installation in vehicle switch panels, it is reverse polarity protected and has a 3 year warranty.
