SAR Technology Inc. announces 'Incident Commander Pro' 7.0 ICS Management Software

SAR Technology has released the latest edition of 'Incident Commander,' their premier software program for managing search, rescue and emergency response missions. Built on the Incident Command System (ICS) and based upon years of practical experience, 'Incident Commander 7.0' provides a field-proven set of Command, Operations, Planning and Logistic functions to manage every type of emergency-response mission.

The software program is based around the fluid structure of ICS, beginning with a Command Menu that contains forms for directing the general organization, objectives, briefings and reporting of the mission.

The Operations Menu contains automatically updating 'live' status displays, for monitoring the real - time status of the mission.  The Planning Menu contains forms for documenting planning and geographic information, and for preparing mission assignments. The Logistics Menu contains forms for managing mission Communications, Medical plans and Personnel Check-In.

Other menus include Calculations to determine Gridsearch time and manpower requirements, UTM/LatLong conversions and numeric calculations, User Data to maintain the user's Personnel information, Organizations, Routes, Areas, Medical and Communications, Plans and Resource Type data, and a File menu containing Quick Start Wizard, editing, and print setup functions.

Additional program features include selectable background, including maps, images & organization logo, Full Context-Sensitive Help & Quick-Tips Help. It is also network capable for multiple users.
