Public Safety Dispatcher San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District

The San Ramon Valley Fire Protection District and the San Ramon Police Department are jointly recruiting qualified applicants for the position of Public Safety Dispatcher within our newly formed 9-1-1 Emergency Communications Center. 

 

Minimum qualifications are possession of a POST Basic Dispatch Certificate and a valid California Driver’s License.  Possession of a high school diploma, G.E.D. equivalency or high school proficiency certificate also required.  An MPDS (EMD) certificate from the International Academy of Emergency Dispatch preferred. Healthcare Provider CPR Certificate also preferred. Experience dispatching for police/sheriff’s department highly desired.

 

Starting salary is $8,223/month. Top step salary is $10,577/month. Base salary includes a holiday differential as well as an EMD differential and an FLSA differential.
